miss A‘s Suzy explained why she sat alone at the recent ‘Grand Bell Awards‘ ceremony.

The ’49th Grand Bell Awards’ was held on October 30 KST at the KBS Hall in Yeoido, where Suzy was spotted walking the red carpet in a beautiful white gown.

On the November 10th episode of ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, Boom stated, “I watched the ‘Grand Bell Awards’, and you really looked like a swan in the dress. Most actresses chat with actors in the audience, but Suzy sat all by herself.”

Suzy explained, “It was because my co-star from the film ‘Introduction to Architecture‘, Lee Jae Hoon, enlisted in the army. The other actors’ seats around me were empty too. I was lonely.”

Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo become ‘culinary terrorists’ on ‘We Got Married’

MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo became “culinary terrorists” on the November 17th episode ofMBC‘s ‘We Got Married 4‘.

After getting together to make kimchi, the ‘We Got Married’ couples decided to assign Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo with the task of making bossam (steamed/boiled pork usually wrapped in lettuce).

Oh Yeon Seo seemed taken aback by the prospect of cooking and confessed that she had even failed at making a cup of ramen for herself. After searching for tips online, Lee Joon came up with the idea to cook the pork in wine to rid it of its gamey smell and taste.

Fearful, Lee Joon commented, “I think it’s going to explode.” Oh Yeon Seo assured him, “It’s not going to explode. It just caught on fire.”

Though the pork ended up a strange purple color, Lee Joon and Oh Yeon Seo as well as the other couples enjoyed the meal.

“Gangnam Style” MV child star Hwang Min Woo reveals Psy made him a special promise

On the November 15th broadcast of YTN‘s ‘News12 – Issue & People‘, “Gangnam Style” MV child star Hwang Min Woo was a featured guest alongside his mother and on the show he revealed a special promise Psy made to him.

Hwang Min Woo shared, “I came to Seoul and Psy ahjusshi told me, ‘I saw you on TV and you are the best. Show me your talent.’ So I started dancing like I did in the MV and Psy ahjusshi responded, ‘Your talent is good.’ So I was very happy. Psy also taught me the ‘horse dance’ and gifted me with a pair of sunglasses.”

When asked if he met Psy after the MV’s success, Hwang Min Woo replied, “After the City Hall concert, he came to me first and told me to come to his dressing room. He promised me that we would do something special for me. I don’t know what that ‘something’ will be but I’m guessing it will be a song or a dance.”

2PM performs “Masquerade” with Nichkhun on ‘Happy Music’

The boys of 2PM performed their latest Japanese single “Masquerade” on the November 16th episode of ‘Happy Music‘.

The song was released on November 14th and placed 2nd on the Oricon Chart, selling over 100,000 units to date.

Nichkhun joined the boys for the performance, singing and participating in the impressive mask removal choreography.

JYJ receives Commendation award from the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy at ‘KBEE 2012′ in Osaka, Japan

JYJ has received the Commendation of the Minister award at the opening ceremony of ’KBEE 2012 (Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo)‘ held in Japan.

The boys of JYJ were previously appointed as ambassadors for ‘KBEE 2012‘.

The opening of the expo was held at the INTEX International Exhibition Center in Osaka, Japan, on November 15th, and many representatives from government facilities such as the Ministry of Knowledge and Economy, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and other officials were in attendance along with JYJ.

JYJ received this prestigious honor because they had been judged as the top Hallyu stars that are active and have the most influence in all branches of culture. One major contributing factor accounted for was that their 15-city world tour brought in more than 210,000 fans. They also helped draw in many Japanese fans to visit Korea through their various activities.

At the event, JYJ commented, “We were happy because it seemed like many fans loved our music and Korea through our concerts and fan meetings. It means a lot for us to receive this award, and we will be even better with improved activities.”

JYJ는 이날 행사에서 "좋은 상 의미 있게 받고 앞으로도 좋은 활동으로보답하겠다"며 일본어로 소감을 밝혔습니다.

Eunhyuk shows support for Yesung’s cafe ‘Mouse Rabbit’

Eunhyuk showed his support for fellow Super Junior member Yesung.

On November 11th, Yesung had opened a cafe with his younger brother titled ‘Mouse Rabbit‘. To show support for his hyung, Eunhyuk visited the cafe. On the 16th, Yesung posted two photos onto his Twitter to thank Eunhyuk for visiting and help promoting his new cafe.

He wrote, “My good-looking little brother Eunhyuk paid a surprise visit ^^ Next it’s my turn..^^“, implying that he would also pay a visit to Eunhyuk’s parents’ bakery. When fans saw the photos, they commented, “It’s good to see the members so close to each other“, “I’m glad to see Eunhyuk’s happy face“, and “You’re both cute!“.

SECRET’s Sunhwa claims she is Jun Ji Hyun’s doppelganger

SECRET‘s Sunhwa is receiving attention for claiming that she is Jun Ji Hyun‘s doppelganger.

Sunhwa will appear as a guest on the upcoming episode of JTBC‘s ‘Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man’s High Society‘. On the show, a poster of ‘the sexiest female celebrity’ awarded to Jun Ji Hyun was displayed which led Sunhwa to exclaim, “I look exactly like Jun Ji Hyun!”, and she hilariously followed Jun Ji Hyun’s exact pose in the poster. She continued, “My [on-screen] husband Kwangheealways calls me Jun Ji Hyun.”

This hilarious episode is set to air on the 17th at 7:35 PM KST.

T-ara’s Dani tries out ‘tteokbokki’ for the first time with 5dolls’ Hyoyoung

T-ara‘s Dani and 5dolls‘ Hyoyoung recently visited a restaurant together.

On November 16th, Core Contents Media released photos of the two girls having fun together. Hyoyoung had taken Dani to a restaurant to eat fish cakes, udon, and delicious tteokbokki. Because Dani had been living in the United States since she was 4, she had never tried any of these items before. She wore a school uniform to the restaurant and tried out a few popular snack items from the 70s and 80s, in addition to tteokbokki and oden.

At first, Dani was wary of the spiciness and had to wash off the spicy gochujang from the tteokbokki, but she tried out the spicy one after Hyoyoung’s encouragement. After trying the spicy tteokbokki, Dani revealed that she thought it was delicious. Hyoyoung had been taking Dani around to various places in order to help her teach Korean culture, and Dani discovered that she actually liked Korean food more than the pizza and other items she used to enjoy back in America.
